A downloadable game

goal

criminal wants to 'evade' the cop, cop wants to 'catch' the criminal
both take turns moving their units on their phone calendars, then making deductions based on the past movement of their opponent
first player to correctly guess the position of their opponent wins

setup

> both players open calendar app (on their phone) and switch to the month overview
> they scroll back in time until finding a month without events on either phone
> each player secretly creates an event on their phone with the date representing player position.

the cop always moves according to the king's movement and guesses according to the queen’s movement
the criminal secretly selects their own movement piece: either rook or knight. the piece not selected becomes the criminal's guessing piece.

gameplay

cop makes first move, followed by alternating turns

player moves their unit to a new position
> (following movement rules of their chosen chess piece)
then makes a guess by stating a position
> cop can guess any position they could move to as a queen
> criminal can guess any position they could move to as their guessing piece
> (the piece criminal did not select during setup)

opponent has to respond truthfully to the guess:
> hit - fooled: cop was evaded by criminal (game ends)
> hit - caught: criminal was apprehended by the cop (game ends)
> check: guess is within one tile range of the unit's actual position (incl. diagonals)
> miss: none of the above apply

after responding, the opponent takes their turn.
